Acrobatics (from Greek Akros, high and bat, walking) is one of the performing arts. Acrobatics involves difficult feats of balance, agility, and coordination. Most things in this athletic category need a lot practice to do, and often need to be worked up to, doing similar but easier versions of the act first before trying the end result.
