Alemán Coloneiro

Alemán Coloneiro, spoken in Colonia Tovar, is a dialect that belongs to the Low Alemannic branch of German. It is spoken in Venezuela.
The language, which like other Alemannic dialects is not intelligible with Standard German, is spoken by descendants of Germans from the Black Forest region of Bavaria. Most speakers also speak Spanish, and their language has also some Spanish loanwords.
