Anarchy
Anarchy can refer to several different things:
- The word anarchy, referring to an absence of government.
- "The Anarchy" is the name given a period of civil war and unsettled government in England during the reign of King Stephen of England.
- Absence of a ruler, ruling class, ruling political party or parties, or power elite.
- In Anarchism, the word may refer to the ideology's desired society. In English this usage is not usual because of the word's pejorative overtones. However, see for example:

- Anarchy: A Journal of Desire Armed
- Anarchy, a book by Errico Malatesta;
- Anarchy!: An Anthology of Emma Goldman's Mother Earth, edited by Peter Glassgold.
- Anarchy is the title of a 2000 album by rapper Busta Rhymes.
