Arabic Emirati Tahiat Alalam ("Ishy Bilady" (عيشي بلادي, Long Live my Nation)) is the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates. This anthem was selected 1996 after a competition was held for a set of lyrics to go with the formerly wordless anthem. (The anthem's music has been official since 1971). The composer of the anthem is Arif asch-Schaich.

ʿĪschī bilādī, ʿāsch ittiḥādu imārātinā
ʿIschta li-schaʿbin Dīnuhu l-islāmu hadīhu l-qur'ānu
Ḥassantuki bismillāhi yā watanu
