Cage
Cage may refer to more than one article:
- A cage is an enclosure made of mesh, bars or wires, used to confine, contain or protect something.
The word cage can also refer to psychological limitation. The fear to step outside of ones place (or cage), such as the fear of leaving one's home, is one type of psychological limtation. Therefore becoming confined in a sense. Any object,device or non-physical item used to confine something, someone, or someplace can be referred to as a cage.
Example: Reference to the movie "Anchorman",
"I am trapped in a glass cage of emotion" - "Will Ferrel" portraying the character "Ron Burgundy".
In this example, the character has become confined in a non-physical item.
