Cornflower blue is a shade of light blue with relatively little green compared to blue.
It is one of the colors available in a Crayola crayon box.
Cornflowers, (Centaurea cyanus) are among the few "blue" flowers that are truly blue, most "blue" flowers being blue-purple.
The novelist Chuck Palahniuk has claimed that the color cornflower blue appears at least once in each of his books.
