East Central German is a group of Germanic dialects:

• Upper Saxon German is a dialect spokn in the majority of the modern German Free States of Saxony.
• Thuringian is a dialect of Thuringia.
• Südmärkisch is a dialect of Berlin-Brandenburg, whose best-known form is the Berlin form (in German, Berlinisch or Berlinerisch). The notable feature of this dialect is that it includes both Low German and High German elements.
