Emma Vallencey Freud (born January 25 1962) is a British broadcaster and cultural commentator.
Emma Freud is the daughter of politician and broadcaster Sir Clement Freud, and is the great-granddaughter of psychologist Sigmund Freud. Emma Freud is married to scriptwriter Richard Curtis, with whom she has four children.
She has worked in a variety of media formats, including being a presenter on GLR and BBC Radio 1 and TV programmes The Pulse, The Big Picture Show, Theatreland, Pillowtalk, and The Media Show. She also presented the BBC's coverage of the Edinburgh Festival and is heavily involved with the annual Comic Relief telethon.
She was the script editor for The Vicar of Dibley, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, and Bridget Jones's Diary.
