Nordeste Linhas Aereas Regionais is an airline based in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. It is a regional carrier operating scheduled services to more than 40 destinations in Brazil under the Varig brand.

History
The airline was established and started operations in June 1976. It was formed by the Bahia state government which provided two-thirds of the start-up capital, with Transbrasil providing the rest. It is now owned by Varig Participacoes em Transportes Aereos (VPTA) (99%).
Services
Nordeste Linhas Aereas Regionais operates services (in its own right) to the following domestic scheduled destinations (at January 2005): Porto Seguro, Salvador and Sao Paulo.
