Sponge (band)

Sponge is a grunge rock band from Detroit, Michigan. The band was formed in 1991 and signed to Sony Records in 1993.
Notable singles by the band include "Plowed", "Molly (Sixteen Candles)", "Wax Ecstatic (To Sell Angelina)", and "Have You Seen Mary". Their most well-known album tracks, however, are the fan favorites "Polyanna" and "Silence Is Their Drug".
