An on-camera meteorologist, Stephanie Abrams joined The Weather Channel in 2003. She delivers local forecasts for more than 75 U.S. cities and forecasts related to various activities and interests, such as golf, health and gardening.
Abrams is from Wellington, Florida and attended both Florida State University and the University of Florida. She graduated cum laude from Florida State with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. At the University of Florida, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography, graduated with honors, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In addition, she has acquired a minor in Mathematics. She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and was president of the North Florida chapter of the AMS from 2002-2003.
