Swati (also known as siSwati and Swazi) is a Bantu language of the Nguni Group spoken in Swaziland and South Africa. It has 1.5 million speakers and is taught in schools. It is an official language of Swaziland (along with English) and one of the 11 official languages of South Africa.

There are four dialects being Shiselweni, Hhoho, Nandzini, and Shiselweni. It is most commonly related to Xhosa, Zulu, and Ndebele in the near by regions. The Language Code is ss resp. ssw (ISO 639).
