Tecmo, Ltd. (テクモ, Tekumo) (TYO: 9650) (formerly known as Tehkan Ltd.) is a Japanese video game corporation that is best known for the Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, Rygar, and Tecmo Super Bowl video game series. The company was founded in 1981 as Tehkan, where they would release classic games like Bomb Jack and Tehkan World Cup, and in 1986, Tehkan officially changed its name to Tecmo.
