Thug Life

Thug Life was a Hip-Hop group founded by Multi-Platinum selling Hip-Hop artist Tupac Shakur in late 1993. It featured Big Syke, Macadoshis, Mopreme and The Rated R alongside Shakur. An interesting sidenote is that the Notorious B.I.G. was originally supposed to be a part of the group but chose to concentrate on his work with Bad Boy Records instead. The group released their first and only album, Volume 1, on Interscope in September 1994. After Shakur's incarceration in 1995 and subsequent joining Death Row Records, the group eventually went their seperate ways.

Formation, the Album and subsequent dis-banding

Formed in the Fall of 1993 "Thug Life" is an acronym for: "The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everybody".

Consisting of Shakur, Rated R, Macidoshis, Mopreme and Big Syke the group eventually relased their debut album, "Volume 1", in September 1994 after it was rejected multiple times by InterRow, Rated R and Macidoshis parted ways and the group quickly disba, although all remain on good terms and often collaborate on each other's projects.
