Tiberius Avidius Quietus

Tiberius Avidius Quietus was a Roman politician of the late 1st century AD.

He was consul in AD 93 and was made governor of Roman Britain in c. AD 97 and held the post until c. AD 100. He was well into middle age by this time, having been a friend of Thrasea Paetus who was executed by Nero in AD 66. He was also a friend of Plutarch and Pliny.
