On 1 January 2005 the municipality had a total population of 47,845. The total area is 7.22 km² which gives a population density of 6,622.33 inhabitants per km².
The Woluwe River goes through Woluwe-Saint-Lambert.

Spelling and pronunciation
Woluwe-Saint-Lambert is sometimes also spelled in French: Woluwé-Saint-Lambert with an accent on the first "e". Though the first version (without an accent) is the official version and the second version (with an accent) should then be considered as wrong, the second one fits more the corrupted pronunciation with a strong ending [e] (like at the end of "anyway").
Woluwe-Saint-Lambert is also often written in French: Woluwe-St-Lambert or abbreviated WSL.
