The World of Balance is a term used in the Square Co., Ltd.'s RPG Final Fantasy VI referring to the state of the world before Kefka unleashes the power of the Goddess Statues. The World of Balance is full of life and beauty, in spite of the war between the Empire and resisting nations such as Doma Castle. In terms of gameplay, the World of Balance is almost entirely linear, with few side-quests, and the story is loosely based around the character, Terra.
